Robert Kennedy
Robert Kennedy is the person chosen for the next quote. Kennedy had a hatred for racism and inequality. He believed that everyone should be treated equally and worked very hard for human rights.
On the day Martin Luther King was assassinated Kennedy gave a speech to a crowd Indianapolis arguing that people needed to work together to stop racism and that violence wasn’t a good solution. He said he knew how the crowd felt as he too had suffered pain when his own brother was shot dead. There were riots that night in Chicago, New York, Detroit and in hundreds of other cities in America. There were no riots in Indianapolis.
